LIES, DAMNED LIES, AND STATISTICS

Canadian Television is reporting that an aide to presidential candidate Barack Obama has "assured Canadian officials that the Democratic presidential candidate's talk of opting out of the North American Free Trade Agreement is just campaign rhetoric not to be taken seriously." The Obama Campaign denies that it has passed any information on to Canadian officials. According to the Canadian Embassy in Washington, "At no time has any member of a presidential campaign called the Canadian ambassador or any official at the embassy to discuss NAFTA." John McCain said,in reference to the story, "I don't think it's appropriate to go to Ohio and tell people one thing while your aide is calling the Canadian ambassador and telling him something else. I certainly don't think that's straight talk."

     So there you have it folks. The media says one thing, the Obama campaign and the Canadian Embassy say another, and John McCain picks the side that is of most benefit to him.  As Mark Twain would say, "lies, damned lies, and statistics." Is it any wonder that a recent Zogby poll showed that most people do not trust the media. Has anyone ever trusted a politician? Should any of us trust one now?

     Obama and McCain as well as Hillary and Huck have been shown to be liars of the 12th degree over and over, but yet the sheep of this country continue to follow their media shepherds into the shearing room. The biblical prophet Isaiah once said: "My people! Those who guide you lead you astray And confuse the direction of your paths." Hosea in another time, echoed, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." Now, as in the time of the prophets, little has changed.

WILL THE REAL LEFTIST PLEASE STAND UP?

According to Edward Luce Mr. Obama is "against 'open trucking' with Mexico in which freight lorries would drive across the border instead of unloading on to American trucks" and wants to end the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). He also wants to "levy lower corporate tax on companies that reverse the offshoring of jobs."

Mr. Luce states:

    Were he the Democratic nominee, one test of Mr Obama’s trade position could be the expiry in November of a deal that imposes quotas on China’s textile exports to the US. Mr McCain would recommend scrapping the quotas. Neither Mrs Clinton nor Mr Obama has expressed a view.

Douglas Holtz-Eakin, senior McCain adviser asks:

      “Would Mr Obama support shutting out Chinese steel imports where production didn’t conform to US carbon emissions standards?”

     Now let me get this straight, Obama wants to end NAFTA , and give American corporations that employ Americans instead of others off shore a tax break. Mr. Obama may even keep quotas on imports from China that have overrun our markets, whereas it is thought that Mr. McCain will continue NAFTA and welcome all the Chinese imports that our ports can handle. Mr. Luce calls this a "move to the left" on the part of Mr. Obama and says that the Republicans will now have plenty of "ammunition" to use against him.

     I wonder if Mr. Luce and the Republican party even know what a Leftist is anymore. NAFTA has ruined American jobs, caused endless immigration problems in unleashing a hord of alien invaders on this country while our trade deficit has soared only to the benefit of China. Mr. Obama wants to end the war that has cost 3000 American lives and billions of dollars while Mr. McCain is for NAFTA, for China, and for endless war. Now I have no doubt that Mr. Obama is a leftist out of the best Lenninist Hells but please don't lable him to the left on these issues when it is obviously John McCain that is truely following a Stalinist globalization and idoctrination program.  Lets be honest here, both of them are farther to the Left than Fidel Castro is.

HOLLYWOOD AND INBREEDING

     According to the Pittsburg Tribune Review , casting director Donna Belajac is looking for people with that "inbred look."

"Some of these 'holler' people -- because they are insular and clannish, and they don't leave their area -- there is literally inbreeding, and the people there often have a different kind of look. That's what we're trying to get."

     Well Mrs. Belajac some of "these holler people" would like to respond. I was born and raised in the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky and as far back as I can remember, I have never met anyone that is "inbred." Now I do not doubt that these unfortunate events occur, but it seems  to me that you have a rather limited world view to believe that hollers promote and foster this type of behavior.  If you would do the research on The Topic instead of listen to "those people" in Hollywood you might realize that the look you seek would be easier found among the aristocratic and elite. You know, like the Blue Bloods you and your Hollywood movie crowd is used to associating with in the North.

Only after he was legalized was he able to travel outside of the country, including several trips to the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, where he received the terrorist training he used in the bombing. Abdel Hakim Tizegha, involved in the millennium plot, sneaked across the border posing as a Mexican migrant." Last year 17 Iraqies were caught trying to enter the U.S. illegally and this month alone four more were reported using fake passports and attempting to gain entry.

     If Neo-cons like John McCain are so worried about "islamo-facism" why are they not looking at our Southern border since it is a fact that terrorists are coming across it? A better question might be: Is terrorism a front for the Mexicanization of the U.S.?

     The front runners in our presidental campaign are all proponents of amnesty and open borders. One could guess that the majority of natural born American citizens are for fighting terrorism AND stopping the invasion from Mexico. If this is the case, then how can any American vote for any of the Three Blind Mice "front runners?" Something seems to be awfully rotten in our political Denmark.

     Let me see if I can run all this together for you. With Janet Murguia of La Raza on the Lou Dobbs show trying to gut the first amendment by claiming that anyone who speaks out against illegal immigration is using coded  "hate speech" and should be silenced, BreitBart dot com whose article seems to be written from inside Cuba but lists no author, tell us that Fidel Castro has resigned and mentions that Cubans have "struggled to accept the development." Now if that doesn't activate your gag reflex, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva of Brazil tells us that: "The great legend continues. Fidel is the only living legend in the history of humanity. He built this through his strength of character, strength of will and also lots of controversy" (He doesn't mention murder and pillage). Hugo Chavez naturally provided the harmony to this leftist hit parade singing Castro "will always be in the vanguard of Latin America's revolutions, and all the revolutionaries of this continent are Fidel's children." The instrumentals were supplied by Nicaraguan Foreign Minister Samuel Santos who said: "Fidel has been a giant of history and resigns as a giant. "He is one of the greatest personalities of humanity's contemporary history."

     Now if you think you've had enough of this Leftist stomach flu, hold on to your barf bag. John McCain and his campaign manager Rick Davis who we already know are connected to ultra leftist George Soros have now been linked to Ukrainian billionaire Oleg Deripaska, "who is suspected of having ties to organized Russian crime." Deripaska who has "already had a history of paying U.S. politicians for political favors", completes the circle of Soros, Putin, the KGB, Davis, McCain and now Deripaska.

     Finishing up this diagnosis, while economists  are predicting a "financial meltdown", we find out that in Barack Obama's book, "Dreams From My Father," he repeatedly refers to Frank Davis of CPUSA as his "friend and adviser". If you don't remember Mr. Davis, he "was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several Communist front organizations."

     With this said, should we take more of the left's aspirin and call them in the morning?
